The popular lounge bar has views over the sea to Skye and is normally busy with locals and visitors. Sink into the leather sofas with a cappuccino or a dram, read the papers, enjoy Bar Lunch or Bar Supper or just join in with the Craic @ the Cnoc.

Dinner can also be taken in our relaxing small intimate restaurant. We employ real chefs who prepare honest real food with a Scottish twist and our wine list is unfussy too. We hold an AA Rosette for our dining experience. The menus change every few weeks which allows us to draw on the natural larder on our doorstep. As our Restaurant is very busy it is advisable to book your table in advance, if the Restaurant is full we will try to get you fed in the Bar. We never turn away a hungry guest. Arriving after dinner service? Let us know and we can prepare a snack ready for your arrival. Room Service lunch and dinner is also available during service times. You don’t need to dress up to visit us; we prefer to welcome you just the way you are.

Full Highland Breakfast is served in the Restaurant between 08.30 and 09.30 and is included in the price of accommodation. If you are not staying with us we can still offer breakfast to get your day off on the right foot. We can offer a Continental Breakfast for the early bird and for the later bird; have your Breakfast in Bed. Our Highland range includes blueberry and cornflower muesli, Mallaig kippers, Ayrshire bacon, smoked salmon, Stornoway black pudding, Scottish free range eggs, poached smoked Mallaig haddock, fresh fruit platter, homemade pancakes and lots more all washed down with freshly ground bean to cup coffee. This is why we have been awarded an AA Breakfast Award.

On fine evenings take in the stunning scenery and sunsets from the outside seating areas, sip on a malt, enjoy an espresso or dine “Al Fresco”. On the not so fine evenings why not cosy in, watch a DVD and order food and drinks from Room Service.

We can set the scene for a wedding up to 100 people in an outside Marquis, hire charges apply. Something smaller, our front garden is the perfect frame for Renewal of Vows Ceremonies followed by Lunch or Dinner in the Restaurant.

We are currently in the process of applying for a license to hold Marriages and Civil Partnership Ceremonies at Cnoc-na-Faire.

A popular choice with many of our guests is to propose to your partner with a special champagne table set up under our Saltire flag with the Isle of Skye as a backdrop.

Exclusive Use - There is nothing quite like a Private House Party to celebrate a special occasion or for just an excuse to get a group of friends together. Visit for the weekend, take over The Cnoc, walk the beaches, visit the islands, enjoy dinner and the “Craic” around a large table for 12. Pop down for breakfast with your slippers on, or better still have Breakfast in Bed. You’ll return to work on Monday refreshed and relaxed after your “Highland Getaway”. If you want to leave the car at home and enjoy the best train journey in the world, let us know and we will pick you up from Arisaig station.
