Food & Drink
At Cnoc-na-Faire we believe that dining should be fun and enjoyable. We employ real chefs who prepare honest real food with Scottish flair. The menus change frequently which allows us to draw on the natural larder on our doorstep. You don’t need to dress up to visit us; we prefer to welcome you just the way you are. Fine dining has gone - our food and service is inovative, local, vibrant, seasonal and Scottish.
Our popular bar has views over the sea to Skye and is normally busy with locals and visitors. You can relax with a cappuccino or a dram, read the papers, and enjoy a Bar Lunch or Bar Supper. If you prefer just join in with the Craic @ the Cnoc. Muddy paws and boots are most welcome in the bar area.
Dinner can also be taken in our small intimate Restaurant. We hold an AA Food Rosette for our dining experience. All our dishes are prepared in house and we are proud to use mostly Scottish produce in our menus. See a sample menu below. As our Restaurant is very busy it is advisable to book your table in advance, if our Restaurant is full we will try to get you fed in the Bar. We never turn away a hungry guest. Arriving after dinner service? Let us know and we can prepare a snack ready for your arrival. Room Service Lunch and Dinner is also available during service times.
To get your day off on the right foot Full Highland Breakfast is served in the Restaurant between 08.30 and 09.30 and is included in the price of accommodation. For the early bird we can offer Continental Breakfast and for the later bird; have your Breakfast in Bed.
If you are not staying with us we can still offer you our award winning Breakfast, just book the evening before.
On fine days take in the stunning scenery and sunsets from our outside eating areas. Sit with a cool drink and watch the clouds roll along; dine “Al Fresco” or just chill on the hill. On the not so fine evenings, why not cosy in, watch a DVD, and order food and drinks from Room Service.
